GLAZED WALNUTS 
3 c. walnuts
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/3 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla

Roast walnuts on cookie sheet for 25 minutes at 275 degrees, then cool. Heat together sugar, salt, cinnamon, and milk until sugar dissolves. Boil until it reaches 236 degrees or until a ball forms in cold water. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Add walnuts. Stir gently until nuts are covered with mixture. Lay out on wax paper to separate nuts.
