MEAT LOAF IN A LOAF | |
1 loaf French bread 1 lb. ground beef 1 med. onion, chopped 1 (13 oz.) can condensed milk 1 tsp. Accent (MSG) 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper 1 egg Remove ends of loaf of bread and scrape out inside of loaf, leaving crust of bread intact. Reserve ends of loaf and crumble remaining bread. Soak 2 cups of bread crumbs in milk for 10 minutes, then blend with remaining ingredients. Stand loaf of bread on end to stuff, place on a cookie sheet, replace ends of loaf. Bake for 1 1/2 hours at 350 degrees. |
