REFRIGERATOR BRAN MUFFINS 
5 c. sifted flour
5 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
2 c. boiling water
1 c. sugar
1 c. oil
2 c. molasses
1 qt. buttermilk
4 eggs
5 c. All Bran
Raisins

Put 2 cups bran and raisins in bowl and pour on boiling water. Cool.

Mix sugar, oil, molasses, eggs, buttermilk and bran in bowl. Add soda, salt and flour and stir well. Then stir in cooled bran and raisin mixture. Store in covered container in refrigerator. Keeps for at least 2 months and improves in flavor.

Spoon into muffin pans, 2/3 full. Bake 400 for exactly 19 minutes. If in microwave put in a cup (one cup takes 1 or 1 1/2 minutes, although texture is changed). Muffins are better flavored if they stand for 6 hours before eating. 116 calories. (Can be stored and used whenever needed.)

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
