PUMPKIN BREAD 
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. each ground cloves, nutmeg and cinnamon
1 2/3 c. flour
1/2 c. salad oil
1/2 c. water
1 c. canned pumpkin
2 eggs
1/2 c. chopped nuts
1/2 c. chopped dates

Sift the dry ingredients together. Place in large bowl and add remaining ingredients in order given, mixing well. Grease loaf pan and spoon batter into pan. Bake about 75 to 90 minutes at 325 degrees, until bread pulls away from sides of pan and toothpick inserted in center comes out clean. This bread freezes well.
