MARGARET'S SURPRISE 
2 lb. stew meat
1/2 pkg. dry onion soup
2 cans cream of mushroom soup
1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms
1 c. water
1 c. red wine

Put stew meat in bottom of roaster, salt and pepper. Pour half of package of onion soup over stew meat. In large bowl, mix mushroom soup, undrained mushrooms, water and wine. Stir all together. Pour over meat and cover and bake at 325 degrees for 3 hours; DON'T PEEK. Serve over rice or noodles.
