MARY'S EASY LEMON PIE 
1 can condensed milk
1/2 c. fresh lemon juice
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
4 egg yolks
6 tbsp. sugar
4 egg whites

Beat one egg white until stiff and add to the mixture of condensed milk, egg yolks, and lemon juice. Beat three egg whites, gradually adding the sugar and cream of tartar, until peaks form. Spoon pie filling into a baked pie shell; cover with meringue and bake in 350 degree oven until egg whites are golden brown. Serves 6-8.
