MARIE'S DANISH CINNAMON COFFEE
CAKE
 
1 c. milk
4 c. unsifted flour
1 tsp. salt
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 lb. butter
3 egg yolks, beaten
1/4 c. warm water
1 pkg. dry yeast
1/2 c. granulated sugar mixed with 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Measure flour. Scald milk and cool. Stir flour, salt and sugar in large bowl. Cut in butter (butter) with pastry blender until mixture looks like meal. Dissolve yeast in warm water. Add to flour mixture with egg yolks and cooled milk. Beat well. Chill in refrigerator overnight.

Cut dough in half and roll each piece into 8 x 13 inch rectangles. Spread half of sugar-cinnamon mixture over each. Roll as for jelly roll. Place each roll in greased pan and let rise until double in bulk. Bake at 300 to 350 degrees for 45 to 60 minutes.
