BUTTERNUT CAKE 
1 c. oil
2 c. sugar
2 c. self-rising flour
4 whole eggs
1 c. sweet milk
1 tsp. butternut flavoring

Mix sugar and oil. Add eggs one at a time. Add flour and milk. Add flavoring. Bake at 325 degrees for 55 minutes or until firm. Makes 3 layers. Use wax paper in greased pans.

FROSTING:

1 stick butter
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese
1 lb. powdered sugar
1 tsp. butternut flavoring
1 c. chopped nuts

Mix and cream well. Spread on cool cake.
