Make 1 box chocolate cake according to directions. Mix 1 large (8 ounce) cream cheese (soften to room temperature), 1 egg and 1/3 cup sugar until fluffy. Fold in 12 ounces chocolate chips. Pour cake mix into cup cakes or 9 x 13 inch pan. Pour cream cheese mixture over top or drop by spoonful on cup cakes. Bake according to cake directions.
