WALNUT SOUR CREAM JUMBLES | |
1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour 1/2 tsp. baking soda 1/2 c. butter, softened 1/2 tsp. salt 1 c. granulated sugar 1 egg 2 tsp. vanilla 1/2 tsp. mace 1/2 c. dairy sour cream 1 c. chopped walnuts Sift together flour, soda and salt. Cream butter with sugar, egg, vanilla and mace. Blend in flour mixture alternately with sour cream. Stir in walnuts. Drop by rounded tablespoonfuls onto greased baking sheets, allowing room for spreading. Bake above oven center at 375 degrees F. for 12 to 15 minutes or until browned very lightly. Remove to wire racks to cool. Makes about 24 cookies. |
