LASAGNA 
1 clove garlic, minced
1 1/2 lbs. ground beef
1 sm. can tomato paste
1 tsp. salt
1/4 c. chopped celery
1 box lasagna noodles
3/4 lb. Mozzarella cheese
1 onion, sliced
2 (#2) cans tomatoes
1/4 c. salad oil
2 tbsp. parsley flakes
1 bay leaf
1 c. cottage cheese
Grated Parmesan cheese

Saute garlic and onion in salad oil until soft. Push aside and brown the meat. Add tomato paste, salt, celery, onion, tomatoes, parsley and bay leaf; simmer about 1 1/2 hours. Cook noodles according to package directions. Put a thin layer of sauce in bottom of 9"x13" pan, then a layer of noodles, more sauce, thinly sliced Mozzarella cheese and dabs of cottage cheese and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Repeat layers until pan is full. Finish with the sauce and cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Serves 8.
