SEASHELL LASAGNA 
24 macaroni seashells
2 tsp. salt

MIXTURE IN SHELLS:

1/4 tsp. salt
1 1/2 lbs. cottage cheese
1/4 c. Italian flavored bread crumbs
1/4 c. Parmesan cheese
2 tbsp. chopped parsley
1 egg, slightly beaten

SAUCE:

2 tbsp. salad oil
1 c. sliced onion
2 cloves garlic
1 (16 oz.) can whole tomatoes
1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/2 tsp. oregano leaves
1 tsp. basil leaves

Cook macaroni and salt for 25 minutes.

Mix together the sauce and pour in a 9x13 baking dish.

Mix together cottage cheese mixture. Then fill the shells with cottage cheese mixture and place in the baking dish, cheese side up. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes at 375 degrees. Remove from oven and place cheese slices on top and put into oven until cheese melts.
