SWEDISH APPLE PIE 
6 med. apples
1 tbsp. sugar
1 c. flour
1 egg, beaten
1/4 tsp. salt
1/2 c. raisins (optional)
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 c. sugar
1 1/2 sticks butter
1/2 c. walnuts

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Use 2 1/2 inch deep by 9 inch glass pie plate. Peel and thinly slice apples and layer in pie plate. Mix sugar and cinnamon and raisins and sprinkle over apples. Mix flour, egg, salt, sugar, chopped walnuts and soft butter and fold over the apples. This mix in cooking will form top crust. Bake in oven for 38 to 40 minutes.
