FOXWORTH FISH STEW | |
8 slices bacon, chopped 6 sm. onions, chopped 5 cans stewed tomatoes 1 sm. bottle ketchup 1 sm. bottle Worcestershire sauce 7 sm. potatoes 1 lb. cooked shrimp Pepper and Hot Sauce 5 fish filets Take bacon and brown in bottom of large cooking pot. When good and brown, add onions and cook until onions are transparent. Then add stewed tomatoes, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, and pepper and hot sauce to taste. Let cook 10 minutes. Add fish filets and potatoes. Let cook another 15-20 minutes, flaking fish as it cooks. Make sure you stir frequently or sauce may scorch. As a finishing touch, add 1 pound cooked shrimp. Let heat another 5 minutes and serve. |
