CRANBERRY POT ROAST 
3-4 lb. pot roast
1 tsp. salt
Dash pepper
1/4 c. water
2 c. fresh cranberries
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Brown roast. Salt and pepper roast and sprinkle with spices and sugar. Put 1 cup of cranberries over the roast and add water to the pan. Cover tightly and cook slowly for 3-3 1/2 hours or until meat is tender. Add remaining cup of cranberries and cook 5-10 minutes. Good with baked white or sweet potatoes.
