COCONUT POUND CAKE 
1 1/2 c. butter
2 1/2 c. sugar
5 eggs
3 c. plain flour
1 tbsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. milk (1/2 Pet and 1/2 water)
7 oz. can Angel Flake coconut
1 tsp. vanilla

Beat sugar and butter until creamy. Add 1 egg at a time. Beat well. Add flour and milk. Stir in coconut. Bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/2 hours in greased tube pan.

GLAZE:

1 c. sugar
1 tbsp. coconut flavoring
1/2 c. water
1 1/2 tbsp. butter

Beat 9 minutes. Pour over hot cake.
