BRAN MUFFINS 
2 1/2 c. flour
1 c. sugar
3 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. vegetable oil
2 eggs
3/4 - 1 qt. buttermilk
1/2 c. fruit
12 oz. bran flakes

Mix dry ingredients, add vegetable oil, eggs, buttermilk and fruit. Mix all well and add bran flakes until flour is moistened (don't overmix). Bake at 325 degrees for 20 minutes. Makes 48 bran muffins.
