1/2 c. Crisco
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 c. pumpkin
2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. nutmeg
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream shortening and sugar. Add eggs. Mix in pumpkin. Add dry ingredients and vanilla. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 10 to 15 minutes. Makes 4 dozen.
