PUMPKIN DROP COOKIES 
1 c. dark brown sugar, packed
3/4 c. (1 1/2 sticks) butter
2 eggs
1 c. can pumpkin
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. each baking powder, soda, nutmeg & cinnamon
1/4 tsp. cloves & salt
1 c. raisins
1/2 c. chopped nuts

Cream together butter and sugar. Beat in eggs. Mix in pumpkin. Combine dry ingredients. Blend into creamed mixture. Mix well. Stir in raisins and nuts. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet. Bake in 375 degree oven until lightly brown, 12 to 15 minutes. Makes about 5 dozen soft and spicy cookies.
