BROWN SUGAR CARAMEL CORN 
2 c. brown sugar
2 sticks of butter
2 c. white syrup
6 to 8 qts. popped corn

When boiled add:

3/4 tsp. baking soda
1/8 tsp. cream of tartar

Boil for 6 minutes, then add soda and cream of tartar. Pour over popcorn and stir well. Place on cookie sheet and bake 1 hour at 200 degrees.
