THE BEST BLUEBERRY MUFFINS 
1/2 c. softened butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
2 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
2-1/2 c. fresh blueberries or 1 (12 oz.) frozen, do not thaw
2 c. flour
1/2 c. milk

TOPPING:

1 tbsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. nutmeg

Bake at 375 degrees, 25 to 30 minutes. Mix butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla, baking powder, and salt. Then add flour and milk, stir in blueberries and fill muffin cups. Sprinkle with topping on each muffin and bake.
