VERY BEST BLUEBERRY MUFFINS 
1/2 c. vegetable shortening
1 1/4 c. sugar
2 lg. eggs
1/2 c. milk
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. Maine blueberries
Nutmeg for topping

Cream shortening with the sugar. Add eggs and mix well. Add milk and mix again. Add flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix until all dry ingredients are moist. Fold in blueberries. Sprinkle each muffin with nutmeg and sugar. Bake at 375 degrees for about 30 minutes.
