1/2 c. soft butter
1 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 tbsp. cream
1 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. baking soda

Cream sugar, butter and eggs. Beat well. Add cream and vanilla. Sift dry ingredients and add last. Chill dough. Roll thin and cut with cutters. Bake in a 400 degree oven.
