3/4 c. butter
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt
4 tbsp. milk
3/4 c. oats
1 c. sugar
3 c. flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Beat sugar and butter. Add eggs and beat well. Sift dry ingredients together and add alternately with milk to the butter mixture. Stir in vanilla and oats. Chill at least three hours. Roll out 1/4" thick on powdered sugar. Cut out and bake 6 to 8 minutes at 400 degrees. Frost or decorate as desired.
