STRAWBERRY "SHORTCUT" CAKE 
1 (16 oz.) box frozen strawberries with sugar, THAWED
1 (3 oz.) box strawberry Jello
5 or 6 oz. miniature marshmallows (1/2 bag)
1 box yellow cake mix
1/3 c. Crisco oil
1 c. water
1 tsp. strawberry or vanilla extract
4 extra lg. or jumbo eggs
1 (3 oz.) pkg. vanilla INSTANT pudding

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In small bowl, combine berries and dry Jello mix. Grease bottom only of 9x13 inch pan and evenly cover with marshmallows.

In large bowl, blend remaining ingredients and beat on medium speed for 2 minutes. Pour batter evenly over marshmallows. Stir Jello mixture and spoon or pour evenly over batter. Bake for approximately 35-40 minutes or until sides begin to pull away from pan and/or toothpick comes out clean.

Strawberries will sink and marshmallows will rise, glazing top. DO NOT turn out of pan. Serve slightly warm or at room temperature with whipped cream. Serves 12.
