APPLE SAUSAGE HASH | |
1 yellow onion 1 1/2 pack smoked sausage 2 Gala apples (may use 1) 1 pack shredded hash browns (26-30 oz) 2 cups sauerkraut (optional) cooking spray Spray cooking spray into a medium large skillet and place over medium heat (not on high). Slice sausage and add to skillet; cook until almost done. Meanwhile, chop the onion, apples, and sauerkraut. Saute in a separate pan until lightly golden. Add the hash browns. When hash browns turn a golden color, add onion, apples, and sauerkraut. Cook to desired doneness, making sure that the sausage is fully cooked and juices no longer run pink. Serve and enjoy!
