HEARTY PEPPER STEW 
2 green peppers
1 onion, chopped
2 tbsp. vegetable oil
2 to 3 lbs. lean beef
1 lg. can tomato sauce
Cooked white rice
1 to 2 cans whole kernel corn, undrained
2 c. water to start
Salt and pepper to taste
Tabasco sauce, optional

Cube beef and brown in oil. Add chopped onion halfway through browning. Add water and simmer until tender, adding more water if necessary. Add tomato sauce and sliced green peppers. Cook until peppers are tender. Add corn. Serve over hot rice.

Adjustments with tomato sauce can be made according how "saucy" you like it).
