SHRIMP CREOLE | |
2 lbs. fresh baby shrimp 2 (4 oz.) cans tomato paste (garlic flavor) 2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce 2-3 c. water 2 tbsp. Creole seasoning 1 tsp. cayenne pepper 1 green bell pepper 1 red bell pepper 2 stalks green onion 1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms 2 pinches oregano Chop all vegetables and mix with other ingredients, except shrimp. Bring to a boil and simmer 30-40 minutes. Add shrimp and simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve over rice. |
