12 endives, wash and cut open. Take out bittercorn hearts. Put into baking dish. Sprinkle with chicken broth, salt and pepper and cover with foil and bake at 300 degrees until tender, 10 to 15 minutes. Sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese (optional).
