FRENCH ONION SOUP 
1/2 med. onion, sliced fine per serving
1 (8 oz.) pkg. fresh mushrooms, sliced
Basic beef stock
French bread, sliced
Shredded Swiss cheese

Saute onion and mushrooms until onions are clear. Put onions and mushrooms in bottom of oven proof soup dishes. Add enough stock to fill to 2/3 full. Add 1 slice French bread. Top with shredded cheese. Bake in 350 degree oven until cheese melts.
