CHICKEN AND DRESSING | |
Large fryer, 6 pork chops or large turkey, cooked so you will have broth 1 1/2 qts. cooked cornbread 6 biscuits or slices of bread 1 c. chopped onions Salt to taste 1 tsp. sage 1 tsp. black pepper 2 or 3 boiled eggs Broth from meat In a large container, crumble cornbread, add onions, pepper, sage, and grated boiled eggs. Pour broth over mixture and mix. Make this mixture kind of soupy as you will bake for 20 or 30 minutes at 400 degrees. Before baking, debone chicken, stir meat into cornbread mixture, and bake chicken in dressing. |
