1 lb. ground beef
1 onion, chopped
1 pkg. taco seasoning mix
1 (8 oz.) can tomato sauce
1/2 pt. sour cream
1 (8 oz.) can refried beans
1 sm. pkg. Dorito chips, crushed slightly (approx. 8 oz.)
1 (8 oz.) pkg. American or Cheddar cheese, shredded

Brown meat and onions and drain. Mix with taco seasoning mix and half of the tomato sauce. Line 9 x 13 inch casserole with 3/4 of crushed Dorito chips. Spoon meat mixture over them. Combine remaining tomato sauce with refried beans and spoon over meat. Next, spread on our cream. Top with rest of crushed chips and grated cheese. Bake at 325 degrees for 25 to 30 minutes. This recipe can be stretched by using 1 1/2 pounds ground beef and 2 cans tomato sauce.
