ORANGE ROLLS
1 c. scalded milk, cooled slightly
1/4 c. warm water
2 tbsp. yeast
1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. butter
1 tsp. salt
2 c. flour
2 eggs
1 tsp. orange or lemon rind
3 more c. flour

Scald milk. Soften yeast in warm water.

In large mixing bowl, mix milk, butter, sugar and salt. Add 1 cup flour. Mix with mixer. Add eggs, one at a time. Add more flour and yeast. Mix on mixer. Remove from mixer and add rind and rest of flour. Knead until blistered looking (more flour, if necessary, so dough isn't sticky).

Place in greased bowl, raise until double. Roll out as for cinnamon rolls. Spread with grated rind of 1 orange and about 3/4 cup sugar (mixed together with fork until sugar is absorbed by oil of rind). Roll up and cut in about 1 1/4 inch slices. Let rest. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes or until brown. Frost with powdered sugar moistened with orange juice.
