DAD'S WILD RICE CASSEROLE 
1/2 lb. bacon cut into 1 inch pieces
3 med. onions, chopped fine
2 sm. green peppers, chopped
1/2 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
1/4 c. melted butter
1 (#2 1/2) can tomatoes
1 tsp. salt
1 c. wild rice

Fry bacon until crisp. Saute onions, pepper and mushrooms in 3 tablespoons bacon drippings for 5 minutes. Mix bacon, onions, green pepper, mushrooms, butter, tomatoes, salt and washed rice in a casserole. Cover and bake 2 hours at 350 degrees.
