WILD RICE CASSEROLE II | |
1/2 lb. fresh pork, cubed 1/2 lb. fresh beef Salt to taste 1 (No. 2) can tomatoes 1 sm. can mushrooms 1 sm. onion 1 1/2 c. wild rice Brown the pork and beef in 1 tablespoon of shortening until well browned. Simmer in 1 cup of water, add tomatoes, mushrooms and onion. Add above ingredients to cooked rice. Place in casserole and bake 1 hour at a low temperature. |
