6 T butter 1 T Crisco 1/2 c milk 1/2 tsp salt 1 egg 1 1/2 c flour Mix butter, Crisco, milk and salt. Add egg and flour mixture and roll out thin. Cut into strips. Drop into boiling broth and cook until done. Dumplings may be cut into strips and placed on wax paper in plastic container. Place in freezer and use as needed. |
