SOFT BATCH CHOCOLATE CHIPS 
2 1/4 c. all-purpose flour
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
2 eggs
1 c. nuts
3/4 c. granulated sugar
1 tbsp. vanilla
2 sticks vegetable butter
1 c. chocolate chips

Sift flour and baking soda. Cream sugar, eggs, vanilla, and melted vegetable butter and gradually add flour mixture, nuts and chocolate chips. Spoon onto greased cookie sheet by teaspoon (small cookie) or tablespoon (large cookie). Place in 350 degree (gas) preheated oven on top rack. Bake 10 minutes and cool for 45 seconds and remove from cookie sheet.
