KIELBASA AND CABBAGE | |
1 1/2 lb. head green cabbage, shredded 2 medium onions, chopped 3 medium red potatoes, peeled and cubed 1 red bell pepper, chopped 2 garlic cloves, minced 2/3 c. dry white wine 1 1/2 lb. Polish kielbasa or any smoked sausage, cut into 3-inch long links (I use low-fat chicken sausage, sliced) 28 oz. can cut up tomatoes with juice 1 tbsp. Dijon mustard 3/4 tsp. caraway seeds 1/2 tsp. pepper 3/4 tsp. salt 1 tbsp. balsamic vinegar Combine all ingredients in slow cooker. Cover. Cook on low 7 to 8 hours or until cabbage is tender. |
