SAUSAGE BALLS IN CHEESE PASTRY 
1 lb. pork sausage
3/4 c. dry bread crumbs
1/3 c. chicken broth
1/8 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. poultry seasoning

Combine ingredients and form into small balls (about 1 teaspoon for each). Fry slowly until done. Drain. Avoid hard crust.

PASTRY:

Into large bowl, sift 1 1/3 cups plain flour, 1/4 teaspoon salt, and 1 teaspoon paprika. Stir into mixture 1/2 pound grated sharp cheese. Cut into ingredients 1/2 cup butter. Work with hands until smooth. Pinch off about 1 tablespoon of dough and form smoothly around sausage balls. Place in freezer. Bake unthawed balls at 375 degrees for 15-20 minutes. Yields: 45.
