4-5 c. pasta (can use shells, rigatoni, springs) 6 c. spaghetti sauce 2 green peppers 1 lg. onion 1/4-1/2 lb. pepperoni, diced 1 lb. hamburger (optional) 1 lb. cheese (mozzarella, brick, provolone or whatever you like) Parmesan cheese Cook pastas separately. Chop onions and peppers and slice or dice the pepperoni. Then fry these together until onions and peppers are soft. Drain off grease. Heat the sauce and add the onion mixture and cook for awhile. Mix the drained pasta and sauce mixture together. Leave a little sauce to put into bottom of 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan. Put 1/2 of pasta mixture into pan. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. Layer cheese on top. Make an additional layer like this. Put aluminum foil on top. Bake at 350 degrees about 1 hour. Take foil off to brown the top at 400 degrees for 10-15 minutes. Use more sauce, if it bakes a little to dry for you. |
