ASPARAGUS OR GREEN BEANS 
1 #303 can vegetable or 2 c. fresh asparagus, chopped in bite-size pieces
1/2 c. slivered or sliced almonds

SAUCE:

4 tbsp. butter
3 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
1 1/2 c. milk
1 glass Old English cheese spread

CRUMB MIXTURE:

1 stick butter, melted with
1 1/2 c. cracker crumbs

Make sauce and add vegetable and almonds. Mix in approximately 1/3 of crumb mixture. Pour into 1 1/2 quart dish. Top with remaining crumb mixture and bake at 450 degrees for 12 minutes or until hot and crumbs are browned.
