BEEF CHOW - MEIN BAKE 
1 1/2 lb. ground round steak
1 1/2 c. celery, chopped
1 med. onion, finely chopped
1 can tomato soup
1 can cream of mushroom soup
2 tbsp. soy sauce
1 (3 1/2 oz.) can mushrooms, chopped
2 c. chow mein noodles
1/2 c. cashew nuts or water chestnuts (optional)

Brown beef. Add celery and onion; saute until transparent. Empty into a large bowl. Stir in soups, soy sauce, and mushrooms. (At this point, the mixture can be refrigerated for later use.) Heat oven to 350 degrees. Add chow mein noodles. Pour into baking dish. Bake, uncovered, for 30 minutes. Sprinkle with remaining noodles and nuts. Bake, uncovered, an additional 10 minutes. Serve over hot, fluffy rice.
