HAWAIIAN BEEF LOAVES 
1 env. brown gravy mix
1/2 c. milk
1 tsp. instant minced onion
2 slightly beaten eggs
1 tbsp. snipped parsley
2 tsp. soy sauce
1/2 tsp. salt
dash pepper
1 c. soft bread crumbs (1 1/4 slices bread)
2 lb. ground beef
16 oz. can sweet-sour sauce
hot cooked rice

In large mixing bowl, blend gravy mix and milk. Add instant minced onion; let stand a few minutes. Add eggs, parsley, soy, salt, and pepper; stir in bread crumbs. Add ground beef; mix well. Shape into 2 loaves; place in shallow baking pan. Bake in 350 degree oven for 50 minutes. Spoon off excess fat. Pour a little sweet-sour sauce over loaves. Return to oven for 15 minutes. Heat remaining sauce to pass; serve with rice. Makes 8 servings.
