SWEET POTATOES CASSEROLE 
4 lg. sweet potatoes
1/2 stick butter
3/4 c. sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. bourbon whiskey
1/2 c. pecans, coarsely chopped

Boil potatoes until tender. When cool, peel off skin and mash with butter, sugar, salt, and bourbon. Spread half potatoes mixture in a greased 1 1/2 quart casserole. Sprinkle 1/2 pecans. Repeat layers. Bake about 30 minutes. 325 degrees. Serves 6 to 8.
