8 slices bacon 1 tbsp. dried onion soup mix 2 (1 lb.) cans Blue Lake green beans 1 (1 lb.) can stewed tomatoes 1 tsp. sugar Saute bacon; drain on paper towel. Pour off all but 3 tablespoons drippings. Empty beans into skillet; add onion soup mix; heat thoroughly. Snip bacon into small pieces; add half to beans along with stewed tomatoes and sugar. Heat to serve, top with remaining bacon. Makes 8 servings. |
