HEALTHY BREAD 
3/4 c. raisins
1 1/2 c. granulated sugar (or) 1 1/8 c. raw honey
1 1/2 c. bran flakes
2 eggs, well beaten
1 1/2 c. rolled oats
1 1/2 c. buttermilk
1 1/2 c. graham flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. dates, chopped
1/2 c. nuts, chopped

Simmer raisins and 1 cup water for 10 minutes; cool. Mix dry ingredients in a large bowl. Add remaining ingredients and raisins plus water. Mix thoroughly and turn into 2 well greased loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 60 minutes. Add 1 tablespoon vinegar or lemon juice to regular milk to make buttermilk substitute.
