PORK CHOPS WITH BEER GRAVY 
4 pork chops cut 1/2 to 3/4 inch thick
1 egg
1 tbsp. water
1/2 c. fine cracker crumbs or bread crumbs
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. paprika
2 tbsp. oil
3/4 c. beer
2 tbsp. flour
3/4 c. beef bouillon
1 tbsp. ketchup

Dip chops in mixture of egg and water, coating both sides. Mix crumbs, salt and paprika. Dip egg coated chops in this mixture, coating both sides well. Brown chops slowly in oil, cooking about 15 minutes. Reduce heat; add 1/4 cup beer. Cover and simmer 20-30 minutes or until done. Make paste of flour and a little remaining beer. Place chops on platter. Stir flour paste, rest of beer, bouillon and ketchup into cooking liquid. Cook until thickened. 4 servings.
