ITALIAN MACARONI CASSEROLE | |
1 lb. (16 oz.) Mostaccioli macaroni 1/2 lb. ground sirloin 1/2 lb. Italian sweet sausage 15 oz. ricotta cheese 8 oz. part skim Mozzarella cheese 2 oz. grated Italian cheese 26 oz. Classico Pasta Sauce (or homemade pasta sauce) Cook mostaccioli according to package directions. DO NOT OVERCOOK. Drain. Brown beef and sausage in skillet; cook meat well. Mix meat, ricotta cheese, grated cheese, and sliced Mozzarella cheese (1/2 package) together. Toss with cooked pasta and place in 2 quart baking dish; layer remaining Mozzarella cheese on top. Cover with aluminum foil; bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes. Serves 6 people. |
