4 eggs
3 c. flour
1 1/2 sticks butter (sweet)
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tbsp. sugar or 4 oz. honey
1 1/2 tbsp. baking powder
1 c. milk + 1 c. heavy cream or 2 c. milk
Dash of nutmeg
1-2 tsp. Triple Sec or cherry liqueur or coffee liqueur or 1 tsp. vanilla

Mix all dry ingredients.

Melt butter

Beat eggs until mixed

Add milk to eggs, then butter, then liqueur or vanilla, stirring constantly.

Add wet mixture to the dry mixture and stir to remove lumps. If too thick add more milk until it is smooth.

Spoon onto hot waffle iron.

Cook until golden brown. 12 servings.
