3/4 c. self-rising cornmeal
1/4 c. self-rising flour
1 tbsp. sugar
1 sm. chopped onion
1 sm. egg
1 sm. can Carnation milk

Mix all ingredients. Just mix in enough of the Carnation milk until batter is moist. Drop by teaspoonfuls into saucepan of hot oil. When golden brown, remove.
